In an attempt to pretend like I had any free time, I jumped on the Klipsun magazine staff as a photographer for winter quarter. During these three months I got to document new stories, more in-depth than I had previously. A Sikh teacher, a hypnotherapist, and a BitCoin startup team were among some of the personalities I had the privilege or meeting. Below are a few of my favorite images from this quarter's edition titled "Timeless", some published, some not.
Sukhmanii Kahlon, 22, is a Western Washington University student who teaches a weekly class focused on adapting to American culture for the elders of Sikh temple Guru Nanak Gursikh Gurudwara in Lynden, Washington. Her photo (left) was used for the front cover of the "Timeless" edition, juxtaposed with one of her students, Manjit Kaur, on the back cover (right).
